We were delighted to be featured in a review post by I am THE Makeup Junkie. Not only did she try some of our best products, the blog author loved them and gave great reasons why the products worked for her and can work for others with similar skin types.

She reviewed the following products:

• Botanical Cleansing Milk
• Botanical Toner
• Youth Renew Serum
• Youth Renew Moisturizer
• Lip Therapy

Botanica Cleansing Milk ($28.00 6.7 fl. oz. / 200 mL)

While the author is usually a gel cleanser fan, she states that she, “really, really likes this cleanser.” She found the cleanser to be exceptional at cleaning her face to take off makeup while leaving her skin feeling clean and fresh. She has combination skin, so a good, balanced cleanser is something she looks for. She recommends this cleanser for those who have similar skin, but says that people with very oily skin may want to try another product.

Botanical Toner ($26.00 6.7 fl. oz. / 200 mL)

If you are considering a new toner, the author recommends this skin care toner as the one to get! She isn’t a big toner user, but says that they are great for balancing pH levels after a peel and that our toner does a great job of doing just that. She said it was very soothing and left her face feeling “amazing” when used it right after her peel.

Youth Renew Serum ($54.00 1 fl. oz. / 29 mL)

Our must-have serum was a favorite for THE Makeup Junkie. She exclaimed that serums and oils are all the range in skin care and that everyone needs one in their arsenal. She likes that it is an intense treatment serum that contains many of the ingredients that you want like peptides, aloe vera, red rice stem sells and date seed kernel extracts which all reduce the appearance of fine lines and improve skin’s texture. She explained that only a small amount of our serum is needed per application because it is very light and absorbs quickly. Overall, she considers the Youth Renew Serum “a must have from the line!”

Youth Renew Moisturizer ($50.00 1.7 fl. oz. / 46 mL)

Our moisturizer is chocked “full of peptides, aloe vera, DMAE and alpha-lipoic acid,” making it a great moisturizer to have in the author’s opinion. Our moisturizer moisturized, toned, and improved the elasticity of her skin. She recommends it for combination, normal and drier skin types, but thinks that oiler skin tones would benefit from our another Aloe Source product, the O2 Infusion Moisturizer. She also suggests that if you’re looking for more anti aging benefits, check out our Youth Renew Moisturizer.

Lip Therapy ($8 0.15 oz. / 4.3 g)

The last product that THE Makeup Junkie reviewed was our Lip Therapy. She found it to be “an extremely moisturizing and nourish lip balm” that hydrates and protects. She really enjoyed the product and found that it left her lips feeling “soft, smooth, and protected.” She also found that it lasted longer than she expected which resulted in less time reapplying.
